“Caring too much”

Some people will look down on others who “care” about things. Perhaps it appears to be an overreaction.

Well, I like to judge things objectively. I can see how I even appear to myself to be in a “loftier” position when compared to someone emotionally reacting to something they care about.

Just because I “kept my cool” puts me in a different place.

But at the core of it, I don’t look down on someone caring about something passionately. I can never look down on that. I like a try hard. I admire that kind of dedication to an idea, feeling, or intention.

And if someone is going to look down on that, if someone is going to be dismissive, I don’t think we will get along very well.
