My “Date” With Damond

I just went to Knott’s Scary Farm with Damond. It was so fun. He was kinda cute and very sweet the whole time. And he made it obvious he was intersted in me. Very smooth with “do you want anything here?” (at the dessert) “Yes, but what I want is not on sale”. LOL.

Anyway, he made the mistake of inviting me to hangout with his two friends previously. The other two guys had more insightful and witty comments, and one was very cute. Both were overall cute actually lol.

So I just felt like our brains wouldn’t match at that level. Maybe he’d be worth exploring if I wanted to settle down soon.

Anyway, I friendzoned him at the end of the date, but we kept messaging after. And I’m thankful for that.

I realized that even though I’m over my ex Ray, I don’t think I’m ready to date because I don’t want to be tied down/locked down, and I don’t want to put in effort that is required for a relationship. I’m too worn down and disappointed from all my effort in the last 3 years, I just want to have fun and do me.

Maybe in 1.5–2 years, I might get more serious; earliest like 6 months.
