Quitting my 2nd job

I just gave notice at my side gig, and it feels a bit scary and freeing — exciting yet daunting.

I’m giving up a lot of money — easy money, at that.

But it’s to free up more of my time and allow me to enjoy life more.

I’ve made a lot of money in the last 2 years side-gigging, and it’s time to enjoy it more.

I’m also traveling in April and June/July, so it’s hard to really keep asking for that much time off that most people don’t get themselves.

Anyway, I’ve wanted to quit for a while, but some benefits didn’t vest until yesterday. I checked, and they did vest, so I’m all good to leave!

My brain is ready for new things, and I’m glad to be leaving. Will just miss the sweet, sweet cash!
